As part of an annual tradition, the swimmers took to the cold and swam their way back to shore, emerging from the water for a warm breakfast of egg and bacon rolls.

Port Campbell local Darcy Tribe said this year they used the winter solstice jetty jump event as an opportunity to raise funds for Fight MND.

“We sold some egg and bacons for fundraising for Fight MND,” he said.

“We raised $471 from those egg and bacon rolls.

“It went really well. The weather was kind to us.

“The sun was out, the water was fresh, but everyone had a smile on their face.”
