Winter Cup at Cobden

THIRTY-one players contest round three of the Winter Cup (par) at the Cobden Golf Club last Saturday.

A grade was won by J. Walker on +1 followed by L. Finney.

B grade went to U. Twynstra on +1, with B. Smith the runner-up.

Balls down the line: C. Sargeant, D. Bath, N. Simmonds, A. Stevens, G. Davis and L. Green.

The Winter Cup saw G. Birnie lead the way on +6, followed by B. Smith, J. Walker, L. Finney and C. Horan.

Nearest the pins: 4th T. Marks, 7th G. Davis, 10th D. Bath, closest second on the 2nd S. Mason and closest on the 14th H. Green.

Sunday competitions will be ongoing until the weather turns. Booking times are 9am-10.30am.

The monthly medal (stroke) and putting competition will be on this Saturday.
