Volleyball round one
THE opening round of Corangamite Volleyball got underway last Tuesday night with some entertaining games played.
While many old faces returned to the court, it was also encouraging to see several new players in the various teams.
Champs presented as the newest combination, featuring a mix of veterans and younger players who are already on the improve.
Ballbusters was the only team not to taste victory in round one, while Bulls got away to a fast start with two wins.
One of those was against rivals, Poachers, who will take a while to get moving.

Freeballers def Champs 3-0, Bulls def Cowgirls 3-0, Bulls def Poachers 2-1 and Champs def Ballbusters 2-1.
