Vehicle collides with fallen tree in accident
LAST Thursday morning saw a vehicle colliding with a fallen tree across Old Port Campbell Road, prompting a police safety message.

Storm weather and wet conditions have caused trees to fall over the past week, meaning drivers will need to be more alert while on the road.
The vehicle hit the tree at approximately 4.30am, while still dark.
Neither police nor ambulance attended the incident as there were no injuries.
Timboon Police Senior Constable Gagandeep Singh urged caution when driving in wet and windy conditions.
“Victoria Police urge everyone in our community to exercise extreme caution if you need to travel on the roads,” he said.
“Heavy rain, strong winds, and potential hazards like fallen trees or debris can make driving very dangerous, especially around sweeping bends.
“Avoid unnecessary travel, check road conditions, drive to the conditions and beware of your surroundings.”
