Ubergang shines

SYBIL Ubergang played a brilliant game of bisque bogey to win last Thursday’s event at the Terang Golf Club.

Ubergang finished with a score of +9 to take out first place, ahead of Janet Saunders with +4 on countback from Clare Pearson.

Balls down the line went to Clare Pearson +4, Elaine Hrabar +4 and Lynette Coxon +3.

Twenty players enjoyed the day.

For the ladies, nearest the pins went to Sybil Ubergang (3rd), Elaine Hrabar (6th), Jo Arundell (11th) and Clare Pearson (9th off the green.

The all day stableford, nine-hole winner was Pat Bourke with 17 points, followed by Michelle Bourke on 16.

The 18-hole event was won by Gary Marr, 35 points on a countback from Terry Beasley.

Balls down the line went to Terry Coolahan with 32 points.

Nearest the pin on the 6th was Terry Beasley.

The women’s competition on Thursday, April 17 will be the Doris Chambers Foursomes and there will also be an all-day stableford 18 and nine hole competition (enter on Mi Score).
