Tough round for Demons
IT was another tough day on Saturday for Timboon’s senior footballers, losing 16.16.112 to 3.6.24 against Allansford at Allansford.

The home team kicked five goals to one in the opening term and outscored the Demons in every quarter.
Jack Matthews, Sam Newey and Ben Newey were best for Timboon in the loss.
Johno Benallack, Martin Angus and Josh Worboys scored a goal each for the Demons.
This week the Demons host South Rovers at the Timboon Recreation Reserve.
Allansford had a strong 17.5.107 to 6.2.38 win in the reserves football.
Ben Matthews, Darcy Tribe and Zeth Kerr were the best for the Demons, with Thomas Hunt kicking two goals.
Allansford had a 6.14.50 to 2.3.15 win in the under 18s.
Rory Roberts kicked both goals and was best for the Demons with Mitchell Plozza and Jhyce Bartlett.
Allansford were too strong in the under 15 football, winning 6.12.48 to 4.1.25.
Byron Woods, Riley Stephens and Ned Mackieson were named as best for the Demons.
In the under 13s, Timboon had a strong 9.8.62 to 1.17 win.
William Spokes kicked three goals and was named best for the junior Demons along with Wiliam Douglas and Jed Watson.
Allansford got the points in the A grade netball encounter, scoring a 38-41 win.
Laura Rosolin scored 27 goals, with Bethany Hallyburton, Holly Kordupel and Nina Barlow best for Demons.
Allansford had a 48-33 win in the A reserve netball.
Best for Timboon were Zalia Hanegraaf, Evie Gordon and Tara Anderson, with Macey Gale scoring 26 goals.
The B grade game saw Allansford record a 47-29 win.
Allison Cook, Elle Bryant and Rachel Richardson were best for the Demons, with Nicole Burvill scoring 17 goals.
Allansford scored a 32-22 win in the 17 and under netball.
Evie Gordon, Holly Delaney and Olivia Benson were named as Timboon’s best.
In the 15 and under match, Allansford recorded a 35-20 win.
Taya Hanegraaf, Ellen Whiting and Asha Loughnan were named as best for the Demons, with Ella Drayton scoring eight goals.
In the 13 and under game, the top of the ladder Demons had a 35-10 win.
Brenna Redshaw was best for the junior Demons, with Grace Richardson top scoring with 11 goals and Emily Plozza 10.
