KOLORA-Noorat’s senior footballers copped a 124-point thumping at the hands of Merrivale last weekend.

The Power travelled to Merrivale on Saturday and were overrun by the home side, going down 22.13.145 to 3.3.21.

The visitors were competitive in the first quarter but could only manage one goal and one behind after the first break, with scoreless second and fourth quarters.

Caleb Scanlon, Charlie Scanlon and Oscar Curran were Kolora-Noorat’s best in the loss, with Aaron Robertson, Caleb Kavenagh and Joel Dillon kicking a goal each.

Merrivale also had a strong win in the reserves, 19.7.121 to 2.1.13.

Neil Kelly, Josh Freeman and Sonny Podger were the Power’s best, with Paul Messer kicking two goals.

Seven goals to Oscar Ritchie led the Power to a 15.13.103 to 1.5.11 win in the under 18 football.

Alongside Ritchie, Levi Cootesmith, Xavier Riches and Patrick Spokes were best for the Power.

William Kenna, Luka Krizmancic and Paddy Scanlon kicked two goals each.

The Power had a 12.7.79 to 0.2.2 win in the under 15 football.

Archie Curran, Michael Woolhouse and Eli Chant were best for the Power, Leo Beasley kicking four goals with Curran, Woolhouse and Crawford Dunn kicking two each.

Merrivale was too strong in the under 13 game, scoring a 18.8.116 to no score win.

Archie Coxon, Braydon Guy and Rohan Elliott were the junior Power’s best.

The A grade netball saw Merrivale register a 57-42 win.

Courtney Garner, coach Lillie Bourke and defender Nellie Sadler were best for the Power, with Garner scoring 28 goals and Bourke 14.

Merrivale had a 40-33 win in the A reserve game.

Kaylee Malady and Ruby Cain were best for Kolora-Noorat, with Grace Lee scoring 18 goals and Jess Beasley 11.

Merrivale also took out the B grade game with a 47-25 win.

Linda Kenna, Alexis Ameduri and Emily Hayden were best for the B grade Power, with Alexandra Smith scoring 12 goals and Ameduri 11.

Kolora-Noorat had a 46-17 win in the 17 and under game.

Ella Maher and Mayci Dwyer were best for the Power, with Matilda Curran scoring 26 goals and Harriot Riches 18.

Kolora-Noorat scored a 36-27 win in the 15 and under netball.

Ivy Kenna was the Power’s best, with Harriot Riches scoring 21 goals and Zoe Roberts 13.

The 13 and under game saw Kolora-Noorat score a 35-12 win.

Ruby Williams and Quinn Thomas were the best for the Power, with Skyla Coburn scoring 20 goals and Thomas 11.
