Tigers and Chewy Chocs celebrate
TIMBOON Indoor Netball has celebrated another successful season, with senior grand final games played last week.
A grade premiers, the Chewy Chocs.
The Tuesday night competition was again enjoyed by several local teams, with finals played in A and B grades.
In the A grade competition, Chewy Chocs defeated Port 35-31.
Best players for the victors were Nikki Clover, Kyla Groves and Claire Blain, with Courtney Blain the top scorer with eight.
For Port, best players were Hayley Plozza (18 goals), Melissa McKenzie and Tiff Jones.
In B grade, Simpson Tigers defeated Book Club 24-17.
Milah Crole was best on court for the Tigers, with Kirsten Robertson the top scorer on 17 goals.
Best for Book Club was Taya Hanagraaf, with Alana Wickham best of the shooters contributing 11 goals.
