“We weren’t expecting to be three and zip but we’ll take it,” a happy Camperdown coach Clinton Thomas said.

An even spread of goalkickers saw 10 Magpies put through majors, pleasing the Magpie mentor.

“In our forward dynamic we don’t want to be reliant on one goal scorer, it was fantastic to have so many contributors,” Thomas said.

“We’re stoked to have Bayley back, we’ve been in regular contact with him the past few months, he’s a great addition.”

Thomas praised Cam Spence for his best on ground performance.

“Cam’s a workhorse; a great soldier. His footy IQ is extremely high, he knows exactly what to do in any situation.”
