Stars of the future
WITH the Saturday morning mod hockey competition season almost over, players are showing great improvement in skills.
The Purple v Yellow match ended in a 2-2 draw.
Umpire points went to Jacob and Laine (purple) and Mateo and Bentley (yellow).
Green defeated Blue 2-0. Umpire points were awarded to Macey and Archie (green) and Lillian and Imogen (blue).
In the under 16 competition, the Lakers showed great skill all over the ground and had lots of shots at goal.
It was an even game throughout, with the Mariners managing to scrape home for a 2-1 win.
Congratulations to Isla on receiving the ‘You Rock’ award.
In the under 14s match, the Lakers put in another great effort but went down 2-1, with Henry taking out the GOAT award.
