Twenty-five pilots of models big and small gathered at the Camperdown Racecourse to show off their flying prowess and chat amongst fellow model aircraft pilots.

Crowds of around 80 also gathered to watch the flights throughout the weekend.

Corangamite Model Aircraft Club secretary Brendan Gee said the crowd and pilots were pleased with what was on offer this year.

“There was a really nice warbird plane, and a couple of people putting on very good aerobatic displays,” he said.

“There was a couple of models with a wingspan over three metres.

“The weather was brilliant, and everyone had a fantastic time and can’t wait to come back next year.

“We’d like to thank everybody for coming and for their support.”
