Simpson comes alive for final meet of season
SIMPSON’S final race meeting of the 2024/25 season didn’t disappoint race fans, with plenty of on-track action.

This season has been an action-packed one at the popular track, with volunteers working hard to ensure every race meeting was a successful and enjoyable one for drivers, teams, officials and spectators.
In the Southern Street Stock Series last Saturday night, Mick Clark took line honours ahead of Patrick Hall and Thomas Garner – with Jayden Edwards coming home in fourth place.
The wingless sprints also provided a great spectacle, with Jake Warren taking the chequered flag and the Merritt Family Memorial, ahead of Angus Hollis in second and Nick Ryan rounding out the podium.
Simpson Speedway will celebrate the season with its annual presentation dinner at the clubrooms on Friday, May 23.
Aggregates will be awarded on the night for the senior Formula 500s, junior Formula 500s, wingless sprints, super rods, 360LS sprint cars plus the over-club aggregate.
