Sheepvention plans well underway
SHEEPVENTION 2026 will once again draw thousands of visitors to Hamilton over the two days of the event.
To be held on Sunday, August 2 and Monday, August 3 Sheepvention continues to be a highlight on the social calendar of farmers and others living both on and off the land across the district and beyond.
But while the event name prominently features sheep, it is not exclusively dedicated to sheep related activities.
Over the past 40 plus years, Sheepvention has grown and evolved into a vibrant platform celebrating the many facets of the agricultural sector.
It is more than an industry showcase, it is a family-friendly event designed to educate and inspire people of all ages about the rich and diverse world of agriculture, fostering a deeper appreciation for farming and its role in our lives.
Sheepvention is thoughtfully curated to feature a wide array of exhibitors, activities, and experiences tailored to engage not only farmers but also families, children, and anyone with a curiosity about agriculture.

Also in Hamilton, the 2026 CopRice Victorian Farm Dog Championships will showcase the exceptional skills of working dogs and their handlers.
