Round 10 of indoor bowls
HEYTESBURY indoor bias bowlers contested round 10 of pennant competition.
In division one, Timboon Lawn (Jason Mungean (s), Noah Mungean, Jean Clover and Pam Dwyer) def. Mepunga 1 (Barb Draffen (s), Helen Harney, Sally Madden and Yvonne Lenehan) 23-20.
Glenormiston 1 (Scott Pierce (s), Bec Heard, Deb Noonan and Bec Heard) drew with Cobden 1 (David Childs (s), Fred Salmon, Claire Reynolds and Doreen Coverdale) 14 all.
Mepunga 2 (George Draffen (s), Frank Harney, Gayle MacPherson and Karl Keegan) lost to Mepunga 3 13-27.
Camperdown 1 (Les Pearson (s), Ron Simcox, Sophie Pearson and Roelie Maslin) drew with Laang-Ecklin (Pam Wines (s), Ken Buck, Rita Mungean and Max Wines) 18 all.
The top four this week are Cobden 1, Timboon Lawn, Mepunga 3 and Mepunga 2.
In division two/three, Peterborough (Charles Martin (s), Angela Payne, Ross Wooley and Dave Dendle) lost to Glenormiston 2 (Deb Cheslett (s), Ron Heard, Maureen Bond and Ray Bond) 9-33.
Mepunga 4 (Gerald Madden (s), Clarrie Matthews, James Byron and Ian Heatly) lost to Cobden 2 (Joyce Roberts (s), Brad Wilson, Pam Savage and Kate Walsh) 15-17.
Glenormiston 3 (Max Heard (s), Noel Uebergang, Rita Pasque and Danielle Gilchrist) lost to Scotts Creek 1 (Neville Robb (s), Joan Laing, Marion Frencham and Marlene Page) 5-22.
Camperdown 2 (Graeme Chamberlain (s), Norma Weller, Gordon Weller and Judy Borthwick) def. Scotts Creek 2 (Allan Beasy (s), Louise Blair, Les Neale and Audrey Armistead) 20-17.
The top four this week are Glenormiston 2, Cobden 2, Scotts Creek 2 and Scotts Creek 1.
A reminder that the HIBBA Open Fours tournament is coming up this Sunday, July 5 and there are a few spots left.

Heytesbury clubs are asked to supply prizes for the HIBBA tournament raffle. See Kathryn if you require any further information.
Heytesbury players are also asked to supply a plate of afternoon tea for the HIBBA tournament if possible. This would be greatly appreciated.
A reminder that names and cards of club singles champions are to be submitted to Kathryn before this Friday, July 3.
The HIBBA Champion of Champions will be held at Simpson Hall, 7pm start. Spectators most welcome.
