Reigning premiers too strong
KOLORA-NOORAT’S senior foot-ballers had a 69-point loss to reigning premiers Nirranda in the round 17 match on Saturday.

Played at the Nirranda Recreation Reserve, the home team ran out 19.20.134 to 10.5.65 winners.
Fred Beasley continued his strong late season form and was named best for the Power alongside Henry Kenna, Nick Castersen and Joel Dillon.
Beasley was Kolora-Noorat’s only multiple goal kicker with three.
The Power finish off their season this week with a home game at Noorat against Dennington.
Nirranda was dominant in the reserves football, scoring an 18.11.119 to 1.2.8 win.
Paul McSween, Alex Kenna and Josh Brown were the Power’s best in the loss, with Riley Scanlon kicking the lone goal.
Kolora-Noorat had an 8.18.66 to 3.4.22 win in the under 18 football.
Eitan Brooks, Riley Kelly and Ben Whytcross were best for the Power, with Oscar Ritchie kicking four goals.
In the under 15 football, Timboon registered a 7.6.48 to 3.4.22 win.
Michael Woolhouse, Eli Chant and Leo Beasley were best for the Power, with Beasley kicking two goals.
In the under 13s, Nirranda was too strong, scoring a 6.7.43 to 0.2.2 win.
Jack Menz, Hamish Messer, Tyne Atkinson and Lexie Williams were best for the junior Power.
In the A grade netball, the undefeated Nirranda scored a big 74-25 victory.
Nellie Sadler and Matilda Curran were best for the Power, with coach Lillie Bourke scoring 14 goals and Curran 11.
Nirranda had a 49-22 win in the A reserve netball.
Grace Lee scored nine goals and Eliza Smith eight, with Steph Jenkins, Ruby Cain and Jessica Beasley best for Kolora-Noorat.
The B grade game saw Nirranda record a 47-27 win.
Alexandra Smith scored 21 goals and Alexis Ameduri six in the loss.
Kolora-Noorat had a strong 55-14 win in the 17 and under netball.
Harriot Riches, Eliza Beaton and Mayci Dwyer were the Power’s best, with Matilda Curran shooting 31 goals and Riches 24.
In the 15 and under match, Kolora-Noorat recorded a 36-17 win.
Isla Spokes and Zoe Roberts were best for Kolora-Noorat, with Roberts and Harriot Riches scoring 18 goals each.
The 13 and under game saw Kolora-Noorat have a 32-19 win.
Quinn Thomas, Ruby Williams and Jade Byron were best for the Power, with Williams scoring 18 goals and Thomas 13.
