Organiser Michelle Elijah said sales of yo-yo biscuits and take-away boxes will continue into next week, with the annual fundraiser currently totalling $2538 at the time of publication.

“It was a lovely day,” she said.

“Thanks to everyone for all their support.

“I’m blown away by the support as always.

“For a little community, I think we do pretty good with the fundraiser that everybody has.

“You appreciate everybody’s support, and it goes to a great cause.”

Between 60-70 people attended throughout the course of the afternoon, with as many as 25 in Revamp at one time.

Attendees enjoyed a variety of tea-themed games, with a number of ties throughout the day.

The ‘tea-rivia’ saw a three-way tie between Wes, Jenna and Trish, as well as a two-way tie between Liz and Elaine.

The ‘what’s in the cake’ guessing game was won by Maria Van Someren.

Helen and Kylea Dickson tied for the guess the teapots and tea cups game.

Ms Elijah extended her gratitude to all who were involved in making the day happen.

“Thank you for all the homemade treats that people made and donated – it was an awesome day,” she said.

“Thanks to all the behind-the-scenes helpers who helped me get everything up and running, and thanks to Tarna Alexander as well.

“We had lots of prizes as well, so thanks to everyone who donated something for the raffles.”

The number of prizes donated meant there were multiple winners for the three types of raffles held on the day, with Peter James and Deb Parkinson both winning the $1 raffle.

The $2 raffle was awarded to Marj Warren, May Jehu and Kathy Banks.

The $5 raffles saw Helen Fleming and Bruce White win a number of products donated by local businesses.

Ms Elijah said she was pleased with the turnout, which grows every year, and is looking forward to next year’s Biggest Morning Tea event.
