The Power finished seventh in 2025, two wins out of the top five in Lillie Bourke’s first season in the role.

“I’m really looking forward to it,” the reappointed Power mentor said.

“I learnt a lot over the past 12 months with great support from Alison Kenna and the committee and feel we have a lot of growth ahead.”

Fiona Bourke comes to the role with a wealth of experience including a nearly two decade career in Melbourne, including a stint with Waverley District in the state league.

“Fiona and her family have been a big part of the club in recent years,” Bourke said.

“Last year was the first year we have really had her fully involved in the A grade netball, she was our team manager, she was fantastic on the sidelines and it’s great to have her on board.”

Bourke said the Power are hopeful of retaining the majority of their list, though some players may be lost to university interstate.

“We’ll look to continue to build on 2025, with a goal to make finals and to keep developing our young players.

“Last year we had games where myself and Molly Bourke were the only players over 18, we have plenty of young talent coming through that will get opportunities.”
