Players head to Mockridge Park
CORANGAMITE hockey players enjoyed a good day out at Mockridge Park last weekend.
Green dominated on the scoreboard against Dark Blue, winning 7-0.
Despite the score, Dark Blue played with heart and determination throughout the match.
The Yellow v Light Blue match was a tightly contested one, with solid defence and mid-field control from both sides.
The game was a nil-all draw on the final whistle.
The Lakers team was victorious 3-2 against Technique.
Oliver Clark scored all three goals while his brother, Quinn, was exceptional in goals and was awarded the ‘You Rock’ prize.
Isla Spokes impressed coach Sharyn with her on-field directions and encouragement of fellow team-mates.
The under 15s played Mariners on Saturday after a month-long break.
Despite playing well, they went down 1-5 – with Noah earning the ‘You Rock’ award.
