Pigeons race from Maroona

CAMPERDOWN Pigeon Club members released 98 birds from Maroona last weekend.

The birds were released at 10am on Sunday, with the first arriving home in one hour, 28 minutes, 33 seconds.

Results were as follows:

1st Mark Kavanagh of Jancourt East (velocity 1237.04 m/mins); 2nd G. and S. McKenzie of Camperdown (1173.70 m/mins).

Next Sunday’s release point will be announced at the end of this week.
