Perfect round for Lenny

COBDEN sharp shooter Lenny Dobbins has returned from the South West Middle Years clay target shooting competition on top of his division.

The event, held at Lake Gillear on Monday October 28, attracted 196 students from 17 schools.

Cobden Technical School sent a team of 12 students from years seen to 10, with Dobbins leading the way after shooting a perfect round of 20/20.

He then progressed to a shoot-off with Mortlake College student Hayley Pickford.

Both students had 10 further shots, with Harley finishing the ‘high gun winner’ on 30 and Lenny taking first place with a score of 29/30.
