In a tightly contested battle, Light Blue managed to get the win over Dark Blue.

In a spectacular display of skills from both sides, Green scored more goals than Yellow.

All teams are to be congratulated on their efforts and sportsmanship.

The Hooked into Hockey participants’ skills are impressive – thanks to the senior players for volunteering to assist.

The Corangamite Lakers edged out Technique with a nail-biting 4-3 win.

Players of the match was Lawson.

A goal from the Strikers early in the game led them to a 1-0 win over Corangamite Lakers.

The entire Lakers side played well, displaying great determination in their pursuit to even the score.

Reece Hester proved his versatility playing in defence and on the win, while Brady Bernoth was again a strength in defence.

The Corangamite Women’s Hockey 5s team lost 12-13 to the Panthers.

Taliyah Bishop copped a ball to the calf in the first quarter, sidelining her for the rest of the game which meant Corangamite played out the game with no subs.

With the sun shining down on them, the women had to dig deep to keep pushing without a break in what was a fast-paced game – and with fresh legs coming on for Panthers at regular intervals.

Akeisha Bishop stepped up to the challenge and was the top goal scorer with an impressive eight goals.

Megan Lucas and Ava Cunningham also contributed to the goal tally.
