New playground for Cobden PS
STUDENTS of Cobden Primary School have been enjoying their new playground which was recently completed.

The playground was able to be put up thanks to school funds which were allocated towards it.
School captains Jacob van Bemmel and Charlotte Robertson said the new playground was a great improvement.
“The playground is good,” Jacob said.
“It’s not as thin as the one we had before – it’s got all different areas you can go through.
“It’s definitely an improvement and a lot of kids like it.”
Charlotte agreed and said she liked all the new space had to offer.
“It’s really fun,” she said.
“I really like the bridge and the slide.
“We didn’t have a slide before.”
The new playground features monkey bars, a flying fox and even a rock-climbing wall.
Vice captains Sienna Merrett and Taja Delaney-Hutchins said it was a nice upgrade.
“I like how it’s all set out in different parts and I like how you can climb up on the rope on top,” Sienna said.
“I like how you come across the bridge to get to the slide.”
Taja said the old playground often had broken pieces, so she felt they were lucky to have the new playground put up over the school holidays.
“It’s not as broken or as old as the last one,” she said.
“I think it’s pretty good. We’re lucky to get it.”
