MP calls for residents to have their say
MEMBER for Lowan Emma Kealy has invited residents across western Victoria to share their thoughts on some of the key issues facing rural and regional communities.

Ms Kealy has launched a survey as part of The Nationals’ ongoing efforts to champion local communities and better understand the things that matter to them.
“We know that cost of living is at an all-time high, and many families across our region are struggling as a result of the Allan Labor Government’s increasing taxes,” she said.
“This is one of the key themes of the survey, along with crime and the broader issue of Labor’s shocking financial mismanagement of our state.
“The Nationals will always be champions for rural and regional communities, and we’re listening and fighting for the fair go that all Victorians deserve.”
Ms Kealy has represented the Lowan electorate for more than 10 years and feels confident in her ability to advocate for the electorate and help deliver results.
She said during her time she had worked alongside community groups, schools, health services, sporting clubs, councils, emergency service organisations and other local champions to help deliver hundreds of millions of dollars in funding and much-needed upgrades.
“It is a privilege to be able to advocate on behalf of the wonderful people of our region, ensuring their voices are heard in Parliament and working with them to improve our great part of the state,” Ms Kealy said.
“Whether it be out on the road during mobile offices across the electorate, at community events, or during meetings with residents and organisations, I will always listen to the community and respect their views.
“I am deeply passionate about continuing to make our region an ever-better place to live, work and do business.
“I look forward to hearing more of our residents’ feedback about some of the key issues our region is facing.”
Ms Kealy said people could visit localsvoices.com.au/westernvic to complete the survey.
