Monthly medal for Paddy

PADDY O’Connor has taken out the May monthly medal at the Terang Golf Club.

O’Connor, playing off a 14 handicap, finished on nett 68 (gross 82) to win the medal from runner-up Chris Coolahan (19) 72/91 on countback.

Balls down the line went to Jo Arundell (22) 72/94, Terry Beasley (25) 72/97 and Tim Keane (10) 73/83.

Nearest the pins: 3rd Linda Kenna and 6th Jeremy Attrill.

The putting went to Paddy O’Connor with 25 putts.

This Saturday will be stableford.

Last Thursday was stroke, monthly medal and putting.

The winner of the monthly medal was Judy Carmody with 98-18-80 on countback from Maureen Bond 107-27-80.

Balls down the line went to Cate Glennon (nett 81) on a countback from Clare Pearson, Jo Arundell and Elaine Hrabar.

Nearest the pins: 3rd Jo Arundell and 18th from off the green Elaine Hrabar.

The putting was won by Cate Glennon and Jo Arundell with 30 putts.

An all day stableford saw nine players compete over 18 holes.

The winner was Caleb Kavanagh with 36 points from Ethan Wyss on 35.

Balls down the line went to Luke Trebble.

Nearest the pins: 6th George Beasley, 8th Mitch Wyss and 11th Terry Coolahan.

The Terang ladies’ pennant team defeated Hamilton 5-0.

Well done to Marion, Cate, Jenny, Margie and Jo.

Next week will be an all-day stableford and ladies competition, with a 9.30am start.
