McKenzie wins Open Combine

CAMPERDOWN flyer Graeme McKenzie has won the Open Combine competition from Mildura.

Pigeon clubs from Colac, Camperdown, Warrnambool and Portland held a race from Mildura last weekend.

Graeme’s winning pigeon was a Blue Bar hen that flew the 456 kilometre distance in a time of six hours and 10 minutes (velocity 1224.02 m/mins).

A cash prize will be awarded to Graeme at the end of the race season.
