Magical night for Year 12 students
CORANGAMITE Shire’s inaugural Winter Ball saw a night of music and fancy dress for 87 Year 12 students from the shire’s secondary schools.
Student leaders from Mercy Regional College, Camperdown College and Terang College came together to organise the night, which saw strong attendance at the Theatre Royal.
Corangamite Shire Council coordinator community development and engagement Bec Reedman said the students embraced the opportunity to dress up, wearing fancy dresses and suits for the night.
“The evening featured music by DJ Corey Ryan, whose performance kept the dance floor buzzing all night,” she said.
“The ball helped foster connection and unity among students from different schools, creating a friendly space where everyone could come together and enjoy the night as one community.
“It was a well-earned break for the students, giving them a chance to unwind, socialise and enjoy a memorable night together.”
