Low rainfall continues
JULY saw another month of lower than average rainfall recorded in Camperdown, Derrinallum and Lismore.

Camperdown recorded 66.6mm of rainfall over July, which is a slight improvement on the 64.4mm experienced in July 2024.
The figure does, however, fall below the long-term monthly average of 84.9mm.
July 28 saw the highest daily rainfall for Camperdown, where 23mm was recorded over 24 hours.
Camperdown’s rainfall tally for 2025 currently sits at 281.4mm.
Meanwhile, Lismore recorded 45.8mm of rainfall for the month of July.
The figure falls below the long-term monthly average of 58.6mm and is also a decrease on the previous year’s total of 57.6mm in the same month.
Lismore’s highest daily rainfall was 7.2mm, which was recorded on July 28.
To date, Lismore’s rainfall tally for 2025 sits at 246.2mm.
Derrinallum saw 42.7mm of rainfall over the month of July, which is less than half of last July’s total of 93.9mm.
The figure also falls below the long-term monthly average of 63.8mm.
Derrinallum also saw its highest daily rainfall on July 28, with 11mm hitting the ground in 24 hours.
The 2025 total rainfall tally for Derrinallum currently sits at 229.7mm.
