Local phone book update

RESIDENTS of the Camperdown and Cobden area are being asked to update their information for the Camperdown and Cobden Telephone Directory as the deadline approaches for the 2025-2026 book.

Project co-ordinator Rob Van den Eynde said now was the time to send through updated information, with just one week left.

“The value of the phonebook is only as good as the information we have, and needs updating when people have left, or people have moved to the area, or sometimes people drop their landline because they’ve gone to NBN,” he said.

“Now is the chance to list their mobiles if they want to in the local book.

“We call out to all our community in the Camperdown-Cobden area to please give us that information and we’ll make sure it’s in your local book.

“It’s delivered, free of charge, to 3000 households and it’s totally funded by the sponsors.

“It’s been a handy little book, and it’s a bigger print than the Telstra book so the elderly, who maybe don’t go to Google to look things up – and even if you try and Google people these days, you can’t find them because they’re not listed in the Telstra directory.”

Information submissions are due by Friday, May 16 to be included in the new directory, which will be published during the June long weekend.

Changes to information from the previous book – the purple-covered 2024-2025 directory – can be submitted via email to directory@tca-online.net.au, or posted to Camperdown Cobden Phone Directory, Post Office Box 72, Camperdown Vic 3260.
