Lions prepare to mark 30th

THE Simpson and District Lions Club has called on former members to reach out ahead of a special milestone event.

Next month the club will celebrate 30 years since first being chartered, and want as many former members involved in the celebration as possible.

Simpson and District Lions Club president Russ Davis said the search for past members had been arduous, but that all were invited to the celebration.

“We would love to see as many past members, especially charter members, as possible,” he said.

The celebration evening will be held at Simpson Public Hall on Friday, March 15 from 7pm.
