The event was attended by 70 odd contestants in groups of four.

Kevin as quiz master/emcee asked 10 or so groups of questions of people’s general knowledge, sporting, entertainment, history and Australiana knowledge.

Whilst Chaulky scrutinised the answers, we all enjoyed a sumptuous supper of sweet and savory delights provided by Lions members and their partners.

The winners were the TUTUTerrific team of Barbara Sanders, Lyn Turner and Phill and Ian Turner.

Congratulations.

There has been such a positive response from the attendees and on social media that we will host another similar event in the spring.

We were surprised at the event by Zone Chairman Alister Lumsden who participated in the trivia, and then presented Heater Rowe (president chairman) and Peter ‘Chaulky’ Palmer with awards for 15 and 40 years of service to the Mortlake community through their Lions Club membership.

Congratulations and thanks to both of them.
