Linke wins at Mortlake

LAST Saturday’s stroke event at the Mortlake Golf Club was won by Andy Linke.

Linke finished on 23-94-71 to win on countback from runner-up Kevin Etherton 10-8-71.

Nearest the pins: 3/12 Eric Clarke, 6/15 Kevin Etherton, 9/18 Andy Linke.

Balls down the line went to Aaron Davies, Andy Lamont, Hamish Weatherly and Steve Hubbard; visitor – Andy Linke (Port Fairy).

Next week’s event will be stroke/monthly medal.
