Line downed in Terang
A FALLEN line disrupted traffic in Terang on Tuesday morning this week.
A downed line at the intersection of Estcourt Street and High Street, beside the war memorial, disrupted traffic for most of Tuesday morning.
A Powercor spokesperson said it was believed a large vehicle had been the cause of the line falling.
“Powercor crews responded to reports of a wire down in Terang this morning,” the spokesperson said.
“A vehicle struck a service wire around 7.30am near the memorial in Estcourt Street.
“No customers lost power.”
