Hundreds trackside for the Terang Cup
THE sun shone down on crowds at a bumper Sungold Milk Terang Cup Day over the weekend.
Perfect weather greeted the wider community as hundreds flocked to Terang Racecourse on Sunday for the Terang and District Racing Club’s premier event.
The event drew trainers and owners from across Victoria, leading to a day of class action on the track and plenty of smiles trackside.
Terang and District Racing Club president Shane Scally said he was pleased with the success of the day.
“I thought it was well attended,” he said.
“Overall things went very good.
“Fashions on the Field went very well and was quite well attended by those interested.
“We had a lot of families in attendance this year and I think it helped that we had the jumping castle, the playground, ice cream and pizza.
“There was plenty of things to entertain the kids, and a great day of racing for everyone to enjoy.”
