Huffadine ton as Cobden out for 31
A STUNNING bowling performance has led Heytesbury-Princetown to a 207 run win over Cobden at Cobden on Saturday.

Winning the toss and batting first in the round 14 Colac-South West premier cricket match, the Storm posted 7/238.
Opener Hamish Huffadine carried his bat through the innings, making 106 from 149 balls, hitting three fours and five sixes.
“It was a beautiful, well-weighted innings,” Storm skipper Matthew Love said.
“He saw off the new ball and played quite patiently, waited for his ball to put away, and when he did, he sure did put it away.”
Huffadine was well-supported in a 77 run second wicket partnership with Simon Harkness, and a third wicket 83 run partnership with Travis Brown.
“Hamish had good assistance with Harko first and then Trav, it just allowed Hamish to sort of play his natural game and keep the scoreboard ticking over,” Love said.
“They both nearly went over a run a ball, so it was really pleasing to get some partnerships through the middle order.”
Harkness made 39 from 43 balls, hitting five fours and a six, while Brown hit three sixes in his innings of 43 from 48 balls.
“We honestly thought it was about fifty-fifty at the break,” Love said.
“We thought if we bowled and fielded well, that we could contain them.”
Contain them was what the Storm did.
A devastating opening spell between brothers Chris and Paul Vogels saw the home team reduced to 7/8 in the 11th over.
Cobden were eventually bowled out for thirty-one in just 24.3 overs.
“We just went to the next level,” Love said.
“Both Vogels just bowled super tight, it was not just the constant fall of wickets, no runs were happening either.”
Chris Vogels finished with the figures of 5/10 from 10 overs, while Paul Vogels took 1/9 from 10 overs.
“China (Chris Vogels) in probably his first half a dozen overs was getting a fair bit of swing out there, good left arm swing bowling is always hard to face,” Love said.
In this week's final round, the Storm host City United at Timboon.
“We're obviously keen to keep up the winning form and you never know, there might be a chance of slipping into the top four if a result goes our way,” Love said.
“But otherwise, we've secured a finals spot at least, looking forward to getting back to the home ground for the last game and maintaining good team form.”
