History made to unlock renewable potential
AN Australian-first has been achieved after AusNet successfully diverted a 500kV energised powerline in to the Mortlake Terminal Station as part of upgrades to harness the region’s renewable energy.
A first for everything: National history was made recently when a live 500kV powerline was successfully transferred in to the Mortlake Power Station, in a vital move to support unlocking the region’s 1.5G renewable energy.
