Grand final awaits division three
CAMPERDOWN Bowling Club’s midweek division three side has advanced to the grand final after defeating Colac City in a close game on Tuesday.

V. Brebner, B. Atchison, K. Henderson and S. Adeney got off to a good start and led for the game, winning 27-17.
M. Van Someren, H. Henderson, G. Chamberlain and D. Watts had a good lead but City came back strong after lunch and just got over the line wining 20-17.
L. Pearson, R. Simcox, P. Atchison and R. Bourke also had a very contested game and scores were level at the lunch break.
Colac City came out after the break and won 19-14.
Camperdown came home with the win overall, 58-56.
The grand final will be played on Tuesday, February 26 at a venue TBA.
Camperdown Bowling Club also hosted week two of its Corporate Challenge Monday night.
The results were very close with three teams on 27 points and two teams with 26 points.
Overall winners were Woolworths with 27 points and +14.
Runners-up were Gary Fryers Paint with 27 points and +12; both teams winning vouchers from Camperdown Quality Meats.
The progressive aggregate after two weeks see Theo’s on top with 53 points followed by three teams with 52 points; Wannon Water, Commercial Hotel and Gary Fryer’s Paint.
Raffle winners were D.Noonan and L.Gungl.
The blind draw of four players (taking home $10) went to Travis Burns, Jason Taylor, Jayden Brewer and Lyle Tune.
