Good day on the green for Healey
THIRTEEN players contested a stroke competition at the Cobden Golf Club last Wednesday.
The ladies also vied for the July monthly medal, putting and silver spoon.
The winner on the day was Dave Stewart with a score of 67 nett, while the runner-up was Lachlan Green on 68.
Nearest the pins: 4th Carmel Darcy (A grade), Jeannine White (B grade), Raylene Hallyburton (C grade) and Lachlan Green (men); 10th Carmel Darcy (A grade), Marie Smith (B gade) and Lachlan Green (men).
Nearest on the 7th and winner of the monthly medal on 71 nett was Carmel Darcy, while Sherine Healey won the putting with 29 points.
Balls down the line: Marie Smith 73 nett and Sherine Healey 74 nett.
Sherine also won the silverspoon competition.
