Fishing competition this month

This year’s event, hosted by the Camperdown Golf Club, was an outstanding success with teams representing various clubs from throughout the district.

Anglers of all ages and abilities are welcome to take part in the competition, with various prizes on offer.

The competition will run from 6am until 12.30pm, with registrations taken at the boat ramp until 10.30am.

All weigh-ins will take place at the clubrooms, where there will also be a sausage sizzle.

Prizes will be awarded for the heaviest fish for men, women and under 16s.

A fishing licence is required for all entrants aged 18 years and over.
