Fishing comp this weekend

CAMPERDOWN Angling Club will hold its next competition this Sunday, August 17 at the Curdies River (or fish the surf at Peterborough).

Anglers of all ages and abilities are welcome to take part in the competition, with various prizes on offer.

The competition will run from 7am until 12.30pm, with registrations taken on 0417 312 512.

All weigh-ins will take place at the Boggy Creek boat ramp at 12.30pm.

Prizes will be awarded for the heaviest fish for men, women and under 16s.

A fishing licence is required for all entrants aged 18 years and over.
