Finals end for junior Bombers

THE last remaining Cobden junior team in the Hampden League finals has been eliminated, with the Bombers’ 13 and under reserves netball team losing the preliminary final on Saturday.

After an even first quarter which saw the Bombers down by two goals at quarter time, Camperdown increased its lead at every change to record a 27-17 win in the match at Hamilton.

Amelia Katsaros, Emma Bonner and Grace Barber were best for Cobden in the loss, with Bonner shooting 10 goals and Katsaros seven.

Cobden’s division one netballers will play Port Fairy in Friday’s grand final at Reid Oval.
