Fiery crash on High Street
A VEHICLE became fully engulfed after a crash in Terang on Monday morning.

Terang Police Leading Senior Constable Ross Hatton said the incident occurred outside W.A. Molan and Sons on the stretch of High Street between Peterborough Road and Dow Street on Monday morning at around 10.50am.
“A 2024 MG SUV, driven by a 26-year-old female driver, was travelling west towards Warrnambool,” he said.
“The vehicle has veered in to a Dodge Ram, which was turning in to a business.
“The collision resulted in both lanes blocked after the MG caught fire as a result of the collision, which resulted in both lanes being blocked and a significant Country Fire Authority response.
“Thankfully no one was hurt and nobody was trapped as a result of the incident.”
Ldg Snr Const Hatton said the cause of the collision was still being investigated by police at the time of publication, but urged drivers to remain vigilant when travelling.
“Police are appealing for drivers to always take care on the roads and pay attention,” he said.
“Incidents such as this serve as a timely reminder to be cautious.”
