Etherton shows form

KEVIN Etherton won the stroke monthly medal and privilege cup at Mortlake Golf Club last Saturday.

Etherton finished on 11-8-69 to win the event.

The day’s winner was Neil Gowland from Timboon on 2-71-69 on countback from Kevin Etherton 11-80-69.

Nearest the pins: 3/12 Rob Field, 6/15 Hamish Weatherly and 9/18 Rob Field.

Balls down the line: Charles Kenny (Timboon), Jake Last, Ian Jubb, Hamish Weatherly and Richard van Diemen.

Last Friday was a nine-hole twilight competition.

The winner was Kevin Etherton, 7-40-33 on countback from Richard van Diemen 11-44-33.

Nearest the pin: 9th Tony Lunn.

Next week’s event will be an aggregate stableford.
