Drivers disappoint again

CAMPERDOWN Police have been busy once again over the weekend, with two drivers caught doing the wrong thing over the weekend.

Senior Constable Samuel Alexander said police detected a vehicle travelling at 144km/h on Foxhow Road in Leslie Manor on Sunday, June 22 at around 5pm.

“The vehicle was intercepted and a Braybrook man in his early 20s was the driver of the vehicle,” he said.

“He conducted a breath test and gave a positive reading – he was taken back to the police station and went positive on an evidentiary breath test.

“On Saturday night, a Camperdown lady in her 40s was intercepted and enquiries revealed she was unlicensed.

“For those two, a brief will be prepared, and they will see a magistrate.

“On Friday afternoon, Camperdown Police also arrested a man who had failed to appear at court. He had warrants out for his arrest.”
