Demons on a roll
TIMBOON has made it two wins in a row with a 10.9.69 to 7.8.50 win at Dennington in Saturday’s senior football match.

The importance of the win was not lost on Demons coach Andrew Hargreaves.
“Two away wins is fantastic, it starts to set up our season,” Hargreaves said.
After giving away two goals to a ‘little bit of niggle’ in the second quarter, Hargreaves liked what he saw from that point on.
“We put our heads down and got our style that we want to play going,” he said.
The performance of the Demon defenders drew praise from the Timboon coach.
“Our back six stopped everything.
“Tomas Lindquist and Jack McGlade were superb across half back; there was no easy ball when they were around.”
Veteran ruckman Marcus Hickey was also dominant.
“Barney (Hickey) monstered their in-form ruckman (Flynn Rowe), he gave us first use and was a huge presence around the ground.
“Now we are getting used to playing with each other, over the next few weeks we will work on converting more when we have our periods of dominance.”
