TIMBOON had a tough day in the round 17 senior football clash at Merrivale, with the home team winning by 112 points.

The Demons now sit four points and a considerable percentage out of the five after the 23.5.143 to 4.7.31 loss.

Best for Timboon in the loss were Johno Benallack, Jack McGlade and Tommy Illingworth.

Josh Worboys was the Demons’ only multiple goal kicker with two.

This week the Demons host fifth-placed Old Collegians at Timboon in the final home and away game of the season.

Timboon had a 32-point win in the reserves football, 9.12.66 to 5.4.34.

Isaac Jones, Mitchell Gristede and Kristofer Gristede were the Demon’s best, with Eben White kicking five goals.

Timboon had a big 11.10.76 to 1.0.6 win in the under 18 football.

Hugh Smith, Leroy Steere and Lachlan McLennan were best for the Demons.

Will Moorhouse kicked three goals for the winners, with McLennan and Jack Banks kicking two each.

In the under 15 football, Timboon had a thumping 18.16.124 to 2.1.13 win.

Alby Jones, Ace Roberts and Rhys Darcy were best for the Demons, with Jones kicking five goals, Jed Watson four and Ace Roberts three.

In the under 13s, Timboon had a 9.7.61 to no score win.

Riley Stephens, Dane Nicholls and Kaspar Hendrix were best for the junior Demons, with Jed Watson kicking four goals.

In the A grade netball, Merrivale was too strong, scoring a 66-30 win.

Delys Jones, Beth Hallyburton and Nina Barlow were the Demons best in the loss.

Consistent goal shooter Laura Rosolin top scored with 19 goals for Timboon, with Isabelle Moorhead shooting nine goals.

A massive match this week, with sixth-placed Timboon playing fifth-place Old Collegians for a spot in the finals.

Collegians sit four points and two percent ahead of the Demons ahead of the final round clash.

Merrivale had a 48-36 win in the A reserve netball.

Macy Gale scored 26 goals and Evie Gordon 10 for the Demons, with Tara Anderson, Gordon and Sophie Walsh best for Timboon.

The B grade game saw Timboon record a 42-28 win.

Nicole Burvill, Sarah Brown and Jenifer Trigg were the Demons best, with Burvill shooting 24 goals and Brown 17.

Timboon scored a 43-14 win in the 17 and under netball.

Olivia Benson, Holly Delaney and Ruby Jones were named as the Demons best, with Evie Gordon and Meg Duro shooting 20 goals each.

In the 15 and under match, Timboon recorded a 38-16 win.

Aysha Hollick, Ellen Whiting and Taya Hanegraaf were best for the Demons.

Hollick top scored with 22 goals, with Bella Savage scoring nine and Ella Drayton seven.

The 13 and under game saw top of the ladder Timboon have a 38-13 win.

Elizabeth Plozza, Indii McKenzie and Emily Plozza were best for the Demons, with McKenzie scoring 24 goals and Plozza 12.
