Dawson wins at Mortlake
LES Dawson had a great day on the greens at Mortlake Golf Club last Saturday.
Dawson finished the day with 14-83-69 to win the stroke monthly medal and first round of the club championship.
The runner-up was Tyler Schafer with 8-82-74 on countback.
Nearest the pins went to Clint Baker on 3/12, 6/15 and Les Dawson on 9/18.
Balls down the line: Clint Baker, Kevin Etherton and Richard van Diemen.
The leading scores championships: Clint Baker 82, Tyler Schafer 82 and Les Dawson 83.
Next week’s event will be (stroke) second round of the championships.
