Crack the Cobden Code
AN EXCITING new event is coming to Cobden over the school holidays, combining adventure and puzzle solving for a unique experience which also has ties to local history.
Event organiser Sandra Timmins said the event would be perfect for locals and visitors alike.
“This interactive trail transforms Cobden into a living treasure hunt,” she said.
“Participants follow clues across town, solving riddles and unlocking codes as they go.
“What makes this adventure extra special is its connection to the Cobden storyboards.
“Along the way, families engage with these historical displays, weaving together the town’s rich stories while piecing together the final challenge.
“It’s a clever mix of education and entertainment, where kids stay engaged and adults rediscover local history through fresh eyes.”

The event is taking place on Tuesday, April 7, from 10.30am-4.30pm.
“Designed to be self-paced and easy to follow, Crack the Cobden Code is ideal whether you have a spare hour or a full afternoon,” Ms Timmins said.
“It’s also a great opportunity to explore local shops, cafés and parks along the route.
“We encourage families to follow the Ride With Us Facebook page for updates, event details and booking links.
“Tickets are available online and the event is also listed on the Corangamite Shire website.
“This school holidays, swap screens for clues, and routine for adventure. Cobden is ready to be explored – all that’s left is to see if you can crack the code.”
