Come and try hockey a hit
SUNNY weather provided ideal conditions for children wanting to try hockey for the first time last weekend.
Corangamite Hockey Club’s annual ‘come and try’ day saw new and returning players of all ages enjoying the sport last Saturday.
A highlight for many spectators was watching the ‘Hooked into Hockey’ children experiencing the sport for the first time.
The day gave participants the chance to learn new skills, meet the coaches and enjoy the team spirit that defines Corangamite hockey.
With the season fast approaching, the club is encouraging anyone who missed the event but is keen to get involved to contact the club.
