Cobden stableford

TWENTY-seven players competed in a stableford event at Cobden Golf Club last Saturday.

D. Absalom won A grade on 33 points, on countback from A.Giles also 33.

F. Bosch won B grade on 37, followed by J. Rix 37 on countback.

Balls down the line went to B. Taylor, S. Carter, C. Horan and C. Elsum.

Nearest the pins: 4th B. Mahony, 7th C. Sargeant, closest second on the 2nd M. Katsaros and closest on the 14th A. Couch.

In A grade m/play A. Couch defeated D. Beard 3-2.

This Saturday will be round one of the club championships.
