Bowls club to turn pink
THERE will be plenty of shades of pink both on and off the greens at the Camperdown Magpies Bowls Club later this month.
The club will host a special pink-themed day at the Thornton Street club on Saturday, October 25 and all players, supporters, club members and the community are invited to join in the festivities.
The day has been organised as a fundraiser for the McGrath Foundation.
The annual pink-themed morning tea will be held from 10am until 12noon.
For just $10 per person attendees can enjoy morning tea, raffles, games, a guest speaker and loads more.

After a day of bowls, the club will hold a special auction later that night – with items such as a Patrick Dangerfield signed football among those to be auctioned; with all proceeds again going to the McGrath Foundation.
The auction will start at 5.30pm.
